Welcome to Southside High School

We are excited to host the 5th Annual Shark Showdown 2023. The students and parents have been busy preparing for your arrival. We will offer novice and varsity divisions in most individual events and are offering two divisions of debate for Policy and Lincoln Douglas. We will also have Congressional Debate.

Congress

Competition for Congress will take place on Thursday, November 30 at 5:30 on Zoom. Check in will take place at 5:15.

Concessions

We will have a traditional Concession Stand throughout the tournament with limited offerings. However, we are taking orders for dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday. Check out the link on the right to secure your food options during the tournament. You will pay for these concessions when your team registers in the library at 2 pm on Friday, Dec. 1.
